A man has caused a stir after being caught on camera flying his son to school because the boy was slate for class.
A kid in Ukraine has been filmed running out of a helicopter and into lessons with his shirt untucked.
Metro UK reports that the helicopter, a Robinson R22 Beta landed
outside the school in the elite Lipky district of Kiev, the capital.
The father, who landed the aircraft was heard shouting "You're late for classes. Now run"
Passersby filming it land (because you don’t usually see a chopper
land at the school gates) were amazed to see the boy leap out.
The boy is reportedly the son of Andrey Palchevskii, a former Deputy Minister of Sports for Ukraine.
Mr Palchevskii has not so far commented on the incident but it has sparked debate on social media.
Some criticised the father for spoiling his son by taking him to school by helicopter.
‘Anna Melenchuk’ said: ‘All we can hope is that such people get
a proper judgement one day. Only this way will humanity have a shot of
getting stabilised again.’
But ‘Artyon Ulibin’ argued: ‘Don’t be jealous. Why would you bother with that? It is great when people are able to afford such things.’
And some people suggested the footage of the helicopter could be a movie stunt.
Lypky is a historic neighbourhood of the Ukrainian capital Kiev where most government buildings and top hotels are based.
