Ooni of Ife set to pick another queen as his 17-month-old marriage crashes .

According to multiple reports, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi's marriage to Olori Wuraola, has crashed. He has also informed the family of his estranged queen that he is no longer interested in the union.

Wuraola, who had been previously married to a former governor and a Lebanese expatriate before marrying the Ooni, is said to have left the palace in Ile-Ife, Osun State, and has since relocated to Lagos. It was gathered that the Ooni decided to dump her because she is not loyal to him.

A motorcycle rider, David Fashina, who allegedly stole two phones from a man in Abeokuta, Ogun State, while wearing a police uniform, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command, Nigerian Tribune reports.

The state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, said the incident happened on August 8. The victim, one Dr Eniola, reported to the police that he was robbed of his two phones by a syndicate of two, one of whom was dressed in a police uniform. .

In the course of investigation, the suspects were arrested and the phones were recovered from them. Speaking with newsmen, Fashina, from Ekiti State, said he committed the crime when he went to pick a commercial s3x worker who was his customer. .

According to the suspect, “after picking the lady, I saw a man who was drunk and sleeping inside his car nearby, and I saw two mobile phones in his car. I picked the phones, took one and gave the lady the other one. I sold the one I picked for N90,000.”

An 18-year-old undergraduate has been arrested for molesting his adopted sister while at a train station in China. Nanjing police detained the teenager on Monday after he was photographed molesting a girl in public, angering millions of Chinese on the internet. .

Pictures of the man with his hands inside the girl’s dress and on her breast in a crowded waiting room at Nanjing South Railway Station were uploaded online, getting many enraged. .

According to the woman who took the pictures, surnamed Chen, the man’s parents were sitting next to him, and other relatives were also nearby. “First I heard the girl sitting opposite to me giggling on the man’s lap and I thought he was tickling her,” said Chen. .

“I was astonished when I noticed that his hands were not on her waist but on her breast. During the whole process, the girl just played with a cell phone and didn’t struggle at all. .
.
The man’s father finally noticed that people around were watching them and asked his son to stand up and leave the place.” Chen, a college student said she was unable to report to the police immediately as the man's family outnumbered her. .

She continued saying other people on the train also took photos but no one did anything to stop the man who had his hand on her breast. Chen however sent the photos to Chen Lan, a writer and NGO worker who has worked for years to protect abused children. .

The writer posted the pictures online and asked the police to help the girl. According to Mo Jing, an officer with the Nanjing railway public security department, the police took immediate action after receiving the report, and officers were sent to the man’s hometown to investigate.

The Kano State police have arrested one Nuruddeen Abubakar of Unguwa Uku Qtrs, Kano, who was found to have raped his biological 14 years old daughter who survived 3 abortions from him. .

Also, one Musbahu Ibrahim, 25, of Zangon Marikita Qtrs, was arrested for severally raping his cousin sister. In another related matter, one (Pastor) Samuel John of No. 26 Whether-head, Sabongari, Kano, was arrested for raping 13yrs old twin sisters and their 11yrs younger one. .

Also, one Dahiru Haruna and Hamza Lawan all of Sheka Qtrs Kano, were arrested for raping a 9-year-old boy. All the suspects confessed to the commission of the crime.
From the 34 cases recorded, 35 suspects were arrested while 36 victims aged between 5-13yrs are involved. .

According to the police command, offences in relation to child abuse are on the increase despite multiple efforts by the Police Command, sister security Agencies, NGOs and relevant Stakeholders. From the 1st of August to date, 34 cases were recorded. .

In the light of this ugly development, the command called on the general public especially parents, guardians, teachers and other stakeholders to take firm stand on the general activities of their wards who always turn out to be victims of such dastardly acts. .

Members of the community especially neighbours and relations are also enjoined to keenly and closely look into their neighbourhood with a view to detect any unruly behavior. This is because, the attitudes of some parents, relations and family friends is turning out to be shocking.
