Easydon Love Why posting the picture of a dead person in the morgue ? That’s unprofessional and this idiot can be sued.
Ikeme P Success This seems insane, but I think it’s a wake up call to humble ourselves & appreciate our maker @ least for the gift of life before other things that are attached to life.
Timiebi James the families of this bodies could sue him and the firm for this , as if they have not grieved enough , putting their face in public space could cause more emotional trauma to these families. this is a wrong move on his part, be proud of your job but you should be thinking about others emotions. that makes us humans and alive.

"I am not corrupt and I don't like money" - Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi

Minister of Transportation and immediate past Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, said this in an interview with Channels TV. When asked whether he is corrupt, Amaechi said;
"Is my honesty in doubt? I have told Nigerians and I repeat to Nigerians today I am not corrupt and I don't like money. I am not one swayed by money. I have lived a character that most Nigerians can tell you.
I try as much as possible not to annoy God by saying I am honest. But with all modesty, I am a honest Nigerian and there are very few honest Nigerians." On why people keep having the impression that he's corrupt, Amaechi replied; "When did that impression start? Nyesom Wike becomes the governor. He takes documents from Government house that people cant read, and says oh, we sold Gas turbines and disappeared with the money. He set up a panel of inquiry? Publish the report." When asked whether he thinks the corruption angle came because he led the campaign organization of President Buhari, "When you talk about the PDP angle, they are bitter that we fought and led the movement against the former government and PDP, and we were successful to have removed them from power. If I was corrupt, why didn't President Goodluck prosecute me? The fight between Goodluck and Rivers state government or myself lasted for two years, Amaechi said:

Ugandan activist arrested for calling President Museveni a "pair of buttocks" remanded in prison custody

Makerere University Researcher, Dr Stella Nyanzi arrested for calling President Yoweri Museveni a "pair of buttocks", has been remanded in custody until next month.  The Ugandan activist was sent back to Luzira Prison by Buganda Road Magistrate Court pending an application for the revision of her case filed in the high court by her lawyers.

Lawyer Nicholas Opiyo asked for an adjournment of the case pending determination of their application seeking to block a planned psychiatric examination against Dr Stella Nyanzi. The mental examinations were sought by the state during Nyanzi's maiden appearance before the magistrate's court early this month.
Nyanzi is charged with two counts of cyber harassment and offensive communication contrary to provisions of the Computer Misuse Act. Nyanzi was also charged with using the internet to disturb the peace and right to privacy of the president.
Prosecution alleges that Stella Nyanzi used her social media pages to refer to President Yoweri Museveni as "a pair of buttocks." She denied the charges but told court that she always writes 'metaphorically' to deliver messages to 'those in power'.
In reference to her vulgar and erotic posts, prosecutor Jonathan Muwaganya filed an application on April 10, asking court to order that Nyanzi is subjected to a psychiatric examination. Muwaganya told court that Nyanzi has a history of erratic psychiatric disorder and was once a patient at Butabika Hospital. The application was based on the affidavit by SP Mboniva Emmanuel, one of the police officers investigating Nyanzi's case.
But her lawyers rushed to the High Court to challenge the request saying that the state wants to use the mental test to declare Nyanzi an idiot and send her to a mental health facility. Lawyer Opiyo told court that the defense team hoped the high court application would be heard before today's appearance. However, High Court has set tomorrow as the hearing date for the application.
Opiyo said that the state's application was brought in bad faith and with utmost act of ambush to deny them an appropriate response. He said they need time to respond to all arguments raised by the state in its application for mental health examination. He also argued that the defense team received a copy of the application after arriving at the court.
Presiding Magistrate James Eremye said Nyanzi was sent back to Luzira on the request of her defense team.

Emir Sanusi spent N37m on telephone calls in 3 years - Emirate Council says

The Kano state Emirate Council says the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II spent N37 million on telephone calls since he ascended the throne three years ago. The Walin Kano and spokesperson of the emirate council, Mahe Bashir, disclosed this to newsmen while reacting to reports that the Emir has spent as much as N6 billion since he was enthroned in June 2014.

According to Mahe, the monarch paid N37 million to Airtel to enable him make calls which most times are international.

“It is true that the sum of N37,054,196.06 was paid to Airtel due to the fact that the emir has been identified with only one local mobile phone which he uses within and outside the country. Majority of the charges are that of roaming, which is normal. The telephones charges of the palace are paid by the council, particularly when it comes within the provision of the budget.”

Mahe also disclosed that on the advise of the state government, N142.8 million was used to purchase the Emir's bullet-proof cars. “This was as a result of the attack on the late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, on his way back from Murtala Muhammed Mosque to the palace. The sum of N108 million was paid to the children of the late emir by the council, in respect of the late emir’s personal cars inherited by the present emir.

The cars now form part of the emirate council’s fleet in the palace” he said The Walin Kano also disclosed that about N152 million was spent to purchase furniture for the palace because those used by the Emir before Sanusi were removed and given to his children according to Islamic injunction. “The sum of N152,627,723 was paid to Dabo Gate for the procurement of furniture for the palace. After the demise of the emir, all his belongings, including the furniture, were removed and given to his children in accordance with Islamic injunction,” he said

The emirate spokesperson also dismissed allegations that the council spents billions of naira on chartered flight, adding that the council only chartered flight twice for the emir’s movement to Sokoto and Benin City. "The council chartered an air flight twice for His Highness for the following trips: In September 2014 to Sokoto, when the emir paid a traditional homage (Mubaya’a) to the Sultan of Sokoto after his turbaning as Emir of Kano and the council spent N4,651,000.

In January 2015 for the trip to Benin for his installation as chancellor of the University of Benin and it cost N9,071,000. All the trips were made a as a result of lack of scheduled flight at that time and it cost the council the sum of N13,722,00 as against alleged N9,071,000.”

At 37 years old, this woman has given birth to 38 children

.
.
Ugandan woman, Mariam Nabatanzi Babirye, has given birth to 38 children, prompting villagers to give her the nickname, Nalongo Muzaala Bana, which means "the twin mother who produces quadruplets." .
. .Mariam has six sets of twins, four sets of triplets, three sets of quadruplets and two single births. While having so many children is a surprise for many, it is not so for Mariam, who says there is precedence in her family.
.
.
In a recent interview with a Ugandan daily, she said: “My father gave birth to 45 children with different women and they all came in quintuplets, quadruplets, twins and triplets." .
.
Dr Charles Kiggundu, a gynecologist at Mulago Hospital confirms that Mariam may have taken after her father, as her case may be genetic. He said: “Her case is genetic predisposition to hyper-ovulate (releasing multiple eggs in one cycle), which significantly increases the chance of having multiples."
.
.
Mariam said she was married off at an early age and she gave birth for the first time at the age of 13 to twins. She said she sought medical advice several times in a bid to stop having children but doctors advised her that since she produces so many eggs, it would be dangerous to her health.
.
.
However, Dr Kiggundu said Mariam was not well advised, because doctors could easily have performed tubal ligation as a permanent method of contraception. Moreover, Mariam has a non-supportive husband who is rarely there for her and her children. .
.
Her eldest son, Charles Musisi, 23, confirmed: “Our siblings do not know what father looks like. I last saw him when I was 13 years old and only briefly at night because he rushed off again." As a parting shot, Mariam advised parents to never sell their children off to early marriage and men to look after their wives and children.
